World of Warcraft Classic / Re: WoW Forever

Ive given the beta a small go, time (and plastic crack/other games) hasnt been that kind to me.  Am enjoying it more than I thought, much like Garry trying different characters and so on.  If I get a proper session / settle on a "beta dude" I'll of course drop the name. (Not rolling a Ped till live I have decided though).

Apparently there has been 1000000 character transfers so far.

And I am sure most of them went to Orcrist!  Or all got their email today!

Mine are all coming thru, going to log in in a while and check its all worked.

Then go through any remaining servers and send them to Orcrist too (except my chap on Mordor as its 64bits anyhoo).

Awesome.

Keep opening and closing the transfer box, it did that to me yesterday, finally saw a server list this morning - started transferring my rando characters (not on Laurelin) to Orcrist (22 char slots helps).

Given how loud the community has been about server upgrades, 64bit etc for as long as forever, they dropped the ball here.  "greater demand" my ass.

Not much to say, but somehow we've been around this name for 20 years (on and increasingly off)...

Probably no need, but I have 3 of my 14 names reserved on Orcrist.

ALso its about time this happened - 64 bit worlds - game just isnt fun when Laurelin/32bit client shits the bed.  Ive been giving a lowbie on Mordor a go and its bloody night & day.

Im happy to push KL over to you if you want?, youve dealt with the stuff before re server moves - and from reading around its best KL moves first and my work schedule is all over the show. And you did the spend on the Kinhouse etc

Also good choice with Orcrist - Laurelin has been nice but considerably quieter than Id like, even with a healthy stable of chars to move between - less rp focus just attracts more people ime.

While I am playing very casually - other games, plastic crack, work and holidays all eat my time - this is a pile of fun.  The runes simply add so much more, and the lower cap is brilliant. World is busier than even in vanilla back in the dawn of time.

The Dog & Duck / Fallout TV Show - Teaser

« on: December 02, 2023, 06:46:34 PM »

Teaser Trailer for the new Fallout TV show released today!

God damn it looks good. But then I said that about the Halo one (and that was awful).

Still, kinda want to reinstall Fallout 4 now...
