The part I bolded, I dont think that he "gets" ganknight.

They're roleplayers. He's probably wearing a hood and casting 'cure light wounds'.

'Our lives are not our own. From womb to tomb, we are bound to others. Past and present. And by each crime, and every kindness, we birth our future.'

'We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained, it must not break our bonds of affection.
The mystic chords of memory will swell when again touched, as surely they will be, by the better angels of our nature.'

Poll for the next one is up on Scrapheap.  I'm hoping Destroyers and Dictors wins out - been about a 3/4 of a year since the last destroyer night.

At Fanfest several of them actually do wear robes...

And on CVA, we are on the KOS list for Providence residents although not actually red to CVA directly :)  http://www.cva-eve.org/kos/index.php  Check for the corp by using search there.

for ppl who lack clicking skills:

Quote
GANK NIGHT 13.5

"Seriously...Whyy??"

Date: February 28th, 2009
Time: 22:00 Eve Time
FC: TBD
Highsec Meetup: TBD
Lowsec Meetup: TBD
Killboard: http://karbowiak.dk/kb/ganknight/
password : gank
Old GN Vids: http://ganknight.kungfoosheep.com/hosted/video/
In-Game Channel for invites: Ganknight Invites ( delayed mode so we can get more than 50)

Shiptype: Ships that aren't optimal. Ever. Fit for PVP though. Bring all your mallers, your rooks, augorors, exequrors, scythes, ospreys, bellicoses, moas, erises, or whatever else you can think of that just isn't *ever* optimal

Fitting Recommendations:

Fit a propulsion mod of the MWD variety. We will land in a bubble or two, being able to move through them is nice. People with afterburners will probably be left behind and killed. By gang members.

Fit for 12km range optimal. In a gang of standard Gank Night size, close range weapons are usually pretty worthless.

Fit some tackle and EW. Sensor boosters really don't help the gang that much. One or two is fine, 4 is a bit much.

Expect to die horribly in a fire, expect to shoot shit at least a little. If we die too soon we can always go back out.

Other things we need:
An FC. I am happy to do it, but if someone else wants to, thats fine as well.
2-3 backup target callers. If i am not the FC, I will gladly be one of these.
2+ people in dictors. WE NEED DICTORS. Hictors also are accepted.
TONS OF EW BRING TONS OF EW DON"T LET ANYONE LOCK OUR BUNCH
'Our lives are not our own. From womb to tomb, we are bound to others. Past and present. And by each crime, and every kindness, we birth our future.'

'We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained, it must not break our bonds of affection.
The mystic chords of memory will swell when again touched, as surely they will be, by the better angels of our nature.'
