Healing coefficients

Hmmm, interesting:

TLDR Version: Every heal in Warhammer has a calculable factor that will tell you how much willpower it would take to scale that spell by the same amount as you would by speccing for one more mastery level. By looking at what spells scale well with mastery levels, and which scale poorly, you can better weigh whether to spec in a certain mastery.

Very interesting read..

This explains why in a number of WP builds,   people have spent points without taking any actual abilities in that tree..

Unfortunately the WARDB.com Career calculator does not reflect these changes,   which is a shame!

Nice find though..

Does anyone remember ElitistJerks Forum for WOW?   They had a some very bright people with some really interesting posts/calculations..

Hope they get into Warhammer :)

I mainly let the boost to (healing) spells I use a lot dictate where I spend my points, too. So far I've only grabbed one career ability. :)
I'm convinced there will be plenty of bright people among the 750k Warhammer players already, whether they used to post on EJ or not. ;)

The same co-efficency/talents is true also for damaging abilities btw.

Here is how I understand the thing.

The basic-abilities in the tree you spec in, are always better than the abilities in the trees you have not specced in. Core abilities are always considered to be fully specced in.

For example for Warrior Priest: No matter where you have spent your points, [spell]Healing Hand[/spell] will always be a good spell. It only scales by your rank and your willpower.

Thanks for that, clears up a few things that I previously misunderstood.

Order Torgal / Allein / Iapetus / Mellir / Ganymede
Destruction Stikklebrix / Mimas
