Reasons to group
« on: December 04, 2011, 03:53:41 PM »
Beyond Flashpoints/Operations.

1. Bonus XP from bonus missions
Quote
Just for bonus and it makes doing bonuses in a full group well worth it. Since you get your completion exp + half of each persons completion. So in your example would be 1500 + 750 +750 +750.
This assumes a full player group, not a mix of players + companions filling the empty slots.  Nice that they do this though :)

2. In FP's different choices each run through actually can vary how the run goes, rather than zerg boss 1, zerg boss 2 etc.

Anymore?

Its just plainly more fun ;)
"Banking was conceived in iniquity and was born in sin. The bankers own the earth. Take it away from them, but leave them the power to create money, and with the flick of the pen they will create enough deposits to buy it back again. However, take away from them the power to create money and all the great fortunes like mine will disappear and they ought to disappear, for this would be a happier and better world to live in. But, if you wish to remain the slaves of bankers and pay the cost of your own slavery, let them continue to create money." Josiah Stamp (Governor Bank of England 1928-41)

True, unless 1 person is playing "tour-guide" and going "go here, go there, come here, do this, touch that" then its just bleh.

its an mmo thats reason enough to group up meet new people or have fun with the people you already know.

in the beta even the heroics you could do them alone once you had your companion i hope they make them a bit more difficult in live to force grouping.

i even managed to take down a champion on my trooper with my companion not sure how high up champions are but it seemed harder than a elite.

Im not rolling 2 troopers.

Still like the idea of a trooper squad, but not hamstringing my main by holding him back to level with your troopers. Game needs a mentor system :(

In that case, you can hold the highest rank title and be our commanding officer!
