1. We havent got 10 in the guild afaik.

2.  Im avoiding the official forums as they are full of the worst types of mmo players (fanbois, people who like bg based pvp and assume thats the pinnacle of pvp, roleplayers, pet collectors, people for whom stats and such are hard, and generally just a silly number of bads);

3. We have a recruitment thread, but they have silly bumping rules :(

This whole thing about being active on their crappy forums filled with the above - and a moderation staff that dont allow you to flame such individuals in the hope that they'll fall over and die in real life, therefore enhancing my gaming experience instead of getting in my way - really pisses me off.  WAR and others did the same in the past.  It just plain sucks.

At least they dont say be active on loserbook.

However I will try, just dont blame me if I get banned.

Take it away from them, but leave them the power to create money, and with the flick of the pen they will create enough deposits to buy it back again. However, take away from them the power to create money and all the great fortunes like mine will disappear and they ought to disappear, for this would be a happier and better world to live in. on a good note though i saw by reading Kurtts link that the reason ive not been invited to beta is that they havent started eu testing yet :)

Dude, they started EU beta months ago. I know 5 or 6 people who have been testing it over the periods of time. Even managed to have a good hour long TS convo with 1 of em about pretty much everthing about the game. Kiss my arse, NDA's  :P

and as for pets in EVE, i'm hoping they definitely go for that idea. Cute little space monkeys running around my cpt quarters, and spider companions with laser eyes attached to the outside of my ship, firing the harmless cosmetic lasers at pods when they see em. Something I will definitely be pushing CCP to do if i get the job.

You'll be QA, something CCp dont listen too otherwise there'd never be the huge bugs in each patch :D

Thats the thing, while CCP leave bugs in, they dont break eve totally, just usually 1 aspect of it, in a way thats always fun for people who notice it.  Last big one that I enjoyed was overheated mods staying at the heat bonus amount even after jumping would clear the overheating itself :)

All from a patch that didnt actually do anything to overheating...

I bet it did include overheating. But 1 thing ive picked up on in my many years of being a test engineer is only tell the public about shiny shiny new things or massive glaring bug fixes. If you tell them about specific bits of code optimization they go out of their way to find things. They obviously kept that bit quiet, and probably didnt even tell the testers to run it through
