Think they say in the news thing that after the forced move you 'll get a free transfer if you dont want to be on Norn.

Our lot went to Azgal mostly as it seemed Norn was going to end up Order heavy and so wouldnt be much fun.

Seems good so far, had some well balanced fights in open RVR and plenty of access to Scenarios. Even so far as being able to do all the Live event tasks which I normally don't manage.

Really enjoying the game again now I'm seeing some action.

Warhammer Online / Karak Hirn is being closed.

Word up folks that might still want to play WAR. Karak-Hirn is being closed due to low pop and free transfers to other servers is open. Myself, I have moved with my new guild to Karak-Azgal and what a difference. Suddenly T3 is hoaching with groups raiding Keeps and doing scenarios that werent there a few weeks ago. Didn't realise how bad the population had gotten.

Anyway just to keep those interested in the loop.

Well I've up and joined the Relaxed Mercenaries. It's been fun guys and I may still lurk the boards to see whats up and have a laugh in the Off topic forum if thats OK.

Anyway they seem to be quite active but not OTT obsessed so suits me. Hopefully they'll be a good crowd like the HOJ guys have been.

Cheers.

I read the rules for Ginnnunga and they seemed a bit overly strick and demanding for a casual player like myself. I had found relaxed Mercs myself through the WA forums so good to see it mentioned here as well. Application sent thier way.

Sorry other HOJ folks but I can't see the point in hanging about in an inactive guild. Shame cos you were a good laugh to chat with and such. Though I hope to still prowl the boards and wotnot.

To be honest since that stint I havent been back on but the Lands of the Dead and the chance to be a slayer has kept me subbing. If the guild is dying out are there any recommendations as to another lot I could join if I keep playing? Where did everyone else head off to?

Not that I'm desperate to leave cos I liked the folks here but if no one here is playing then it seems daft to hang about.

Paranoid I'm alone in the guild now.

Well after moaning I know I havent been around the last week or 2, between work and being sent on an away day to Cardiff and such I havent had a lot of time. Add in all the good TV is starting up again (Battlestar anyone!!). Lastly the Missus got me Fable 2 at Crimbo and I'm a bit addicted, even so far as buying Xbox live points for the first time ever so I could download the expansion. Rest assured when I'm finished with it though I'll be back in force.

After all I finally got Axenar up to 22 after seeming to have a mental block at 21. And I'm determined that WAR will be the first MMO since Star Wars Galaxies where my character goes all the way to the highest level. Until then, see you soon.

Groovy maybe I can pile through the tiers and get into the tier 4 action proper now.

Leave my KOTBS alt on hold while I concentrate on Axenar I think. Be nice to have one top level character before I work on a new one.

I had hoped WAR wouldnt end up like most other MMO's I'd played but low and behold it's followed suit and myself a slow leveller due to family and time am left wandering the wastelands of the lower tiers. I havent seen another player in ages. But they must be about cos the keeps swap hands fairly regularly.

I had the same issues in LOTRO too, I could never find anyone to do the Story Chapters which all needed groups as I started late in that game. In the end I gave up.

Just find it annoying that a casual player like myself can rarely get to enjoy a keep attack or a decent public quest anymore as I'd need to sit about for hours to get a group or some such.

Anyway reckon I'll concentrate on levelling and just skip worrying about Reknown rank and PQ Influence. I can always go back and do the PQs later. I want to get up where the action is and that seems to be Tier 4.

Though I havent seen many guildies on of late either. Where is everyone? (though that could be cos I never manage on at weekends maybe I just miss everyone as I'm on when they're off).

The Dog & Duck / Re: 2009, what you looking forward too?
« on: January 05, 2009, 05:48:11 PM »
Well I did have something major to look forward to but that's now gone so like most folks now just looking at the smaller things like computer games, all those movies and so forth. But in the immediate future like Caradir I'd like to stop feeling so flipping ill. Maybe even get to play some WAR for the first time in about 3 weeks.

Warhammer Online / Absence

Not been on for several days and may be a bit longer, personal crisis at home right now so not feeling very sociable or having the time. Might not be back until after Christmas now but I will definately be back once things calm back down. Though if things perk up sooner I may be back before then or possibly just for very short spells to see whats happening.

I liked it but no brits this time just the russians and the americans but this time we see some Pacific action but much better done than MOH rising Sun.

Good to be back in WW2 as well.
