great news think when they appear i will swap out my SM for a KOTBS.
-
We will also be giving players more incentive to engage in open RvR by improving the rewards for both assaulting and defending in RvR.
Beo is going to cream himself.
I like the sound of the RVR influence, drop rates, itemisation and this stuff quoted above. They get an A for effort thus far from me.

Veeeeerrrrryy nice :)
-
Awesome.

oooh Nabs first choice was going to be KotBS, but now apparently he is very fond of his IB:-)
I would like to try a Hammerer.......
I hope the other classes are not far behind!
-
Aye where's my hammerer (see my logo pic). Anyhoo glad the tank is back for Empire cos that's the one I wanted to be.
JOY! ;D
-
I was hoping that the choppa would be the next class, still it's something to look forward to (=

Does anyone know what the missing classes and upcoming races are? By upcoming I mean at some point in the future, not necessarily december.
Knights of the Blazing Sun
Black guard
...?
Skaven
... ?

The originally planned classes for WAR were the current ingame classes, plus:
- KotBS
- Black Guard
- Hammerer
- Choppa

Rumor suggests Skaven, Lizardmen and/or Vampire Lords as new possible races. Certainly the fist for sure (existing models in game and what not look pretty good, would just need to small touches to make player usable really).
As for the rest of the rather lengthy post by MJB, as I said above it certainly makes me happy. The KotBS should draw more to Order, making realm balance a little more even (although to be fair it is not too bad on Karak Hirn, may 2.5:1 or so :D), and if the RVR changes are all I hope they are, then RVR should finally start drawing HUGE crowds - kind of like last monday, but every damn night!

What would really throw the cat amongst the pigeons would be if they introduce Skaven/Lizardmen/Undead but as a THIRD faction.
That would be a mindblowingly good move - though they'd be a weak third faction to start off with (and thus need the xp bonus crap).

I would love to play a Skaven Plague Monk. If they had been available at game launch it would have been my instant choice.
