My Agony Class lolfits

These are my fits (I have plenty of other gear on site, so they may change and of course the class instructor may demand we do different!) :

they've gimped overdrives; I'd switch it to a nanofiber II if you can fit it.

In addition, your range doesn't make sense - if you're fighting at 14-20km as your rails and mag field stab, imply, why have a targeting disruptor and ECM jammer that are optimal at 30,42+. Either swap out the rails to have something with a longer range, or use that lowslot for something else (signal distortion amp, perhaps).

If you want an ECM merlin (and I don't recommend it), consider racials:

Quote
[Merlin, ECM merlin]
Nanofiber Internal Structure II
Signal Distortion Amplifier II

Enfeebling Phase Inversion ECM I
'Hypnos' Ion Field ECM I
'Umbra' I White Noise ECM
Catalyzed Cold-Gas I Arcjet Thrusters

'Arbalest' Rocket Launcher I, Gremlin Rocket
'Arbalest' Rocket Launcher I, Gremlin Rocket
125mm Prototype I Gauss Gun, Antimatter Charge S
125mm Prototype I Gauss Gun, Antimatter Charge S

This has a bunch of advantages:

1. Range (you can jam a long way, certainly to your max targeting range (about 40KM).)
2. Strength, ok, so you can't jam caldari ships - but swap them out if you're expecting them, and you'll certainly give those other races a good run.
3. You're FAST, with MWD on you can manage 1955m/s, off 300m/s - stay at 30KMs and keep up a high transversal, and that's plenty fast.
4. Get in close and you put out a bit of DPS (~80) and jam just as well.

By FAR the best option for a cheap ECM boat is the blackbird:
Quote
[Blackbird, Poor Man's Falcon]
'Hypnos' Signal Distortion Amplifier I
800mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I

Compulsive Ion Field ECM I
'Shade' I White Noise ECM
Halting Phase Inversion ECM I
CZ-4 Concussive Spatial Destabilizer ECM
F-90 Positional Sensor Subroutines
Catalyzed Cold-Gas I Arcjet Thrusters

'Love' Medium Remote Armor Repair System I
'Love' Medium Remote Armor Repair System I
Improved Cloaking Device II
Cynosural Field Generator I

126KM targeting range, ECM with 140 optimal, about 10K EHP to get you out of a bit of stick. Cost,  about 15M.
This can be ramped up to T2 for a 150KM range.

Just for notes, my standard falcon build is:

Quote
[Falcon, Standard Falcon]
Signal Distortion Amplifier II
Signal Distortion Amplifier II
Signal Distortion Amplifier II

ECM - White Noise Generator II
ECM - Ion Field Projector II
ECM - Phase Inverter II
ECM - Spatial Destabilizer II
ECM - Spatial Destabilizer II
Sensor Booster II
10MN MicroWarpdrive II

[empty high slot]
Scan Probe Launcher I, Snoop Scanner Probe I /OFFLINE until I get Recon V
Cynosural Field Generator I
Covert Ops Cloaking Device II

Particle Dispersion Projector I
Particle Dispersion Projector I

This baby can target out to 200KM, jam optimal to 210, and warp cloaked. Sit at a snipe point, uncloak, lockdown, and then nip off before anyone else gets to you.

And last but not least, my 'fleet scorpion'. Note that it has no ability to "self-heal". Has the same range and strength as the falcon, no ability to cloak, but a lot more EHP (49K vs the Falcon's 7k)

Quote
[Scorpion, Fleet Scorpion]
Signal Distortion Amplifier II
Signal Distortion Amplifier II
Damage Control II
1600mm Reinforced Steel Plates II

Sensor Booster II
Sensor Booster II
ECM - Phase Inverter II
ECM - Spatial Destabilizer II
ECM - Ion Field Projector II
ECM - White Noise Generator II
ECM - Spatial Destabilizer II
100MN MicroWarpdrive II

Cruise Missile Launcher II, Paradise Cruise Missile
Cruise Missile Launcher II, Paradise Cruise Missile
Cruise Missile Launcher II, Paradise Cruise Missile
Cruise Missile Launcher II, Paradise Cruise Missile
'Peace' Large Remote Armor Repair System I
'Peace' Large Remote Armor Repair System I

Particle Dispersion Projector I

Particle Dispersion Augmentor I

My fits arent totally my choice.  All based on the materials we had to read, suggested fits and so on by agony.  I'd prefer to be using a harpy fit for gank, but T1 ships preferred.

I have enough modules down in Berta I can refit where necessary.  Didnt take MWD's as they didnt mention those in the briefing mats either, although with scrams now shutting them down I wouldnt want to fit one anyways.

I have a similar BB fit - without a reppers and using a DMG control rather than the plate.
While you lose some HP - you're more agile and the resists fare a little better - is it worth the comromise on the HP?

Agility doesn't really matter at 150KM, you'll warp in, align and then look out for intys, there aren't many that will make it out to even at 5KM/s without you seeing them coming and being able to pulse the MWD, align to a celestial and be able to warp if you get into trouble. The point of the armor plate is to act as a buffer tank if you find that you're in a dictor bubble. That said, I'd happily swap it out for another signal distort and get 175-200KM out of the jams.

Note that the reppers are remote reppers, so it's designed to 'fix up' the blackbird or other 150KM range snipers next to you.
