Seriously, its brilliant on co-op. Got my brother a copy too, and forced him to log onto steam to join me :) Yet to try Versus mode, but that looks even more fun.

I had a very quick single player go of the demo when it was released, but haven't gone back to it. But it looked very nice even on my outdated PC.
I think that due to my age and the amount of alcohol I have consumed over those years, I have lost the edge that you need to play such fast paced games.
I used to play Quake when it was first released and managed to play for a clan in div 1 for a couple of years against some of the top clans. For me that game was the best FPS ever ;D

A few weeks ago, I spent an afternoon going through a good number of zero punctuations, and for me, this (http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/zero-punctuation/17-Guitar-Hero-III)must be (one of) the best.
Even though I'm not a console-person, and not a guitar (or drum, or whatever) hero, either.

The 45-50 euros that Steam charged you put me off, but I've noticed the price has dropped to as low as 27 quid on Play.com.
Might get it soon if I figure out if Source runs on my machine!

Left 4 Dead 2 takes place in the South of the USA, beginning in Savannah, eventually reaching New Orleans. There’s four new characters to play, each with back-stories to be hinted at in their conversations. Coach is a high school football coach from the Savannah area, used to leading the kids, comfortable in his life, and perhaps not enamoured by the arrival of a zombie attack. There’s Rochelle, from Cleveland originally, working for a cable news network. She’s producing a segment on this strange story occurring in Savannah, and gets caught up in the events. Ellis is a Southern boy mechanic, an enthusiastic but smart guy with a “Southern flair”. Finally there’s Nick, a gambler and a conman, unsure of his company and cynical about the events.
Not much more info yet beyond a Nov 17 release date.
Yay for E3 being held again and oo shiny factor :)

haha, just played a fun game - Crash Course campaign, where you have to start the generator (twice) to get to the van
was already on medium health, the three (AI) stooges were too dumb to cover me while starting the generator the 2nd time, but ok I make it - barely, the van finally comes down, I sprint for it to get safe, jump in: hunter - ouch. Moe, Larry and Curly take their sweet time to save me and I get out with 2 health
all's well that ends well ;)

Playing it on the PC (steam for the win!) matey. However PC owners cant play with xbox owners, which is the one suck.
But it is worth getting it on any platform its great fun.

it is possible but both use different online systems, Steam for PC and that Live thing for Xbox, so no cross platform play. Although im sure L4D is on mac and THAT is crossplayable.

Dont think there has been yet - even with xbox live and gfw live being the same thing.
Would be good, as the game code itself doesnt change in regards to lfd, gta Iv, tf2 etc just how they connect to the interwebtubes.

fence is bugged thats where i got stuck, DONT go to gate, look for where the heli has crushed the fence and go there instead works fine then.

the swarms and other specials are ok to handle, the tanks are damn scary, yes - if two point blank mags of shotgun dont kill it ???
there should be a tactic to handle them though

i think youll find that although i am indeed the MASTER of Friendly fire i also get more kills than you do :P

usual being 6.30/7.00 ish UK time. Ive stuck something in steam anyways.
With Garry, Goat, Saf and I, its 4 at the moment, if we get more we can always look at the other game modes too.

yeah , you have med pack, noob a (me usually) takes a lot of damage and has no medpack, then you select yours and right click whilst targetting me to heal me ;)

You can play as Bill then, the npc version does that too, never heals people and is always first to the health kits.

Na went downhill, that mode really is best with 4. So we ran thru crash course instead (2 map campaign).
