Meh, can't login.

Will try later. Though, while it pains me to say it, I haven't been that impressed with the footage so far.

ok managed to register you need the latest version of jave installed, and there is a pop up with a site addon you need to allow to get the sys scan to work.

also use compatibility mode

Finally managed to register, though through Firefox. IE has issues it would seem. Also, make sure your Java is up to date.

Don't get me wrong, the game looks pretty, and I'll definately give it a go, but I just don't see how these flashpoints/voice overs/single player RPG choice options will work in an MMO environment, especially when grouped.

IMPORTANT FANBOY ALERT

Fanboys change your opinions now!! Its not cool to big up starwars anymore despite all previous messages and forums to the contrary, as the release draws closer it is now far more plausible to condemn the game for its failure to live up to hype!!

Damn them all for not making another wow clone those bastards, an MMO not ripping off wow it will never work how dare they! RPG choices in an MMO madness, flashpoints and voicovers... someone stop the insanity.

FANBOY ALERT END

Its not due to them departing from the norm, its more from a technological viewpoint. But as I said, happy to give it a go.

"Banking was conceived in iniquity and was born in sin. The bankers own the earth. Take it away from them, but leave them the power to create money, and with the flick of the pen they will create enough deposits to buy it back again. However, take away from them the power to create money and all the great fortunes like mine will disappear and they ought to disappear, for this would be a happier and better world to live in. But, if you wish to remain the slaves of bankers and pay the cost of your own slavery, let them continue to create money." Josiah Stamp (Governor Bank of England 1928-41)

I have to say I don't get the hype... The game doesn't look that great from the videos I've seen, it appears not to be a proper MMO (I may be wrong but I have the impression it is a SP RPG with an integrated IRC program), and it is all about the non-cool Star wars stuff (lazer swoooords!!1!!) and none of the cool stuff (Tie-fighters vs X-wings vs robot-fighters!)...
