Well, while i understand that WP's place is in the front line, charging into destro group alone means you'll be burned down pretty quickly, scoring points for destro. It makes much more sense if at least 3 ppl charge simulatenously. Unfortunately that happens rarely. It's partly cowardice, partly because there are scenarios where you can hardly find 3 heavy melee (tanks + WPs + WLs) on order side in total. SWs, WHs and BWs all around plus some healers and engineers.

Gotta love guild groups.

IMO we did fairly well yesterday, the last attempt to push up the stairs in Badlands keep was quite organised. Few things i'd say may help:
1) Initial momentum
If we're going to capture objectives in the rvr zone, let's split WB into 2 groups and cap them simultaneously. Leave one party to guard each objective and the rest move on to the keep (if enough ppl).

2) Blocking reinforcements
Depending on the keep, it may be near impossible to guart the outer wall. Break the outer door as quickly as possible. Once in the inner yard, split wb to guard back/side entrance to the and man the ram. Put 2 ppl on the top of the outer walls to warn about incoming.

3) Re-group at the ground level
Once you're inside, it's not necessary to hurry up. Just get all ppl inside and block doors to cut all reinforcements. I was thinking about group setup which maximised grp healing, e.g. 3 tanks and 3 (different) healers in a grp. With 2 such groups, you have realistic chance to charge up in an organised way and survive, with healers spamming group heals. Start with knockbacks and aoe debuffs.

In most PQ players don't take enough damage for full-time healing. I do PQs in my solo gear and tactic, focusing on damage, only heal when i see it's 'needed'.

Avelorn:
- ch12 camp gets repeatedly attacked by 2 beastmen, one of them is named, contributes to ... something, sorry dont remember  ???
- south of ch12 camp, there is an "Y" shaped crossing. Speak to the named treant (well, tree-shaped NPC) for "The Vale-Walker" title.

Manning the ballistas is not the win-all tactics, but when the opponent allows it, it is one of the brighter things to do :)
Well, agree, my previous statement was too cathegoric ... in my personal experience, destro zergs usually came from sides. With half of order team uselessly positioned near the bridge, you're guaranteed to be overwhelmed. Honestly, i prefer to say "leave ballistas" bcs smart ppl know to do the contrary if the conditions are right. But, are PuGs smart, on average?

I think i've won and lost one or two before timeout. I've been typing "fight AT the flag, not SOMEWHERE NEAR the flag and centrainly NOT near the bridge" so much that my fingers hurt ... The thing is, you need to stay very close to the flag and preferably turned towards the flag, to be able to react quickly, hit and interrupt anyone trying to get it. Balistas / catapults are mere decoys, if ppl start to man them you're going to lose most of the time.

Smite is an excellent jump-shot ability when you are low on RF and running away. Activate Smite, jump in the air and make a 360 degree turn in the air. If you time it right Smite will hit those behind you without you having to slow down at all :)
Have you tested this? I've read somewhere that it's not possible in WAR since your orientation seems to update only when you're on the ground, not mid-air.

I do not think that people realise that possession of the bauble in itself does not score you points (in any great number at least, I do not think it awards any), and this is the issue which causes people to play the game incorrectly.
This. So many ppl fail to read the text on the loading screen ...  :-[

I think retreating back to the base with bauble is the right thing to do if you need to re-group and/or several ppl are dead and you're outnumbered in the centre. However, fully agree with Torgal it's necessary to be offensive afterwards and push destro back. Optimal place is the area below the crater on destro side - you are close to bauble spawn point, there is some space there for maneuvering, you can block destro since the bridge from their spawn point is rather narrow and fortunately not many destro are smart enough to take a side route and get into your back.

TA suffers from relatively low amount of melee types on Order side. White Lions are way less popular than Marauders. Also, not sure, but it seems that destro has generally more classes with knock-back?

There are similar quests for T3, rewarding Stalker set items. Starting quests are from ch12 camps and you will be asked to kill 20 players of a certain class in RvR. In Avelorn it was 20 DoK and now i'm on the final quest (kill a hero mob). I've got another "kill 20 something" in High Pass in empire ch12 camp and i presume there is yet another in dwarven pairing. There are 4 items in the set and according to wardb it looks like the 4th item is obtained in the same way, mini-chain starting in Talabecland.

I *think* that you may first need to do some of "participate on XY scenario" or "kill 20 destro in T3 RvR" quests, before those mini-chains become available.

Well i agree Archmage mechanics does not correspond to Mythic promises. Maybe originally they wanted to make spells cheaper with High Magic, not stronger / quicker casting. ATM i agree it's just a gimmick. My current damage / healing ratio in scenarions is often below 1 : 10. Also, most of the time there is not enough healers so all spam heals till i'm dry.

Despite that, i decided to go Vaul for group RvR - "debuff tree":
- Radiant Gaze 5% damage and 5% crit chance debuff plus our strongest DoT which can be boosted by Tranquility and turn into aoe with a tactic
- Scatter the Winds ranged 50% healing debuff with DoT component, with 9sec duration and 10sec CD
- Rain Lord i have seen some comments that this debuff reduces mobs dps in the magnitude of 15%, probably less on players (?)
- Law of Age i would guesstimate that it translates into few per cent damage taken increase

@Torgal
- No, AMs have no comparable abilities to Master Runes or even Oath Runes (only one univeral +resist grp buff)
- Our shield is for some completely <insert an adjective> reason usable only on group members
- Our AOE detaunt, Walk between Worlds has only 5sec duration so if knocked down / back i'm not even able to cast one 3secs heal before it expires. Its CD can be reduced from 60secs to 20secs With tactics with tactics.
- Our knockback Wind Blast is frontal cone with small snare component, 60secs CD and i don't think it can be reduced.
- AM does not have AP drain, only shamans have. Our spell is instant cast AP destruction with negligible damage component, you need tactics to get some AP back. This difference ofc contributes to stronger AP starvation for AMs.

Avelorn, SE from elven ch10 camp. There is a champion gurgling mob named Filthmiser (or so). Contributes to a tactic unlock i think.

Altdorf:
Reikland Arms, the inn opposite to First Altdorf Bank (the one with guild vault). In the basement, there are shelves which are in fact a door. There is and instance behind but requires town lvl 2 to unlock.
In Lords Row, N from Sigmars Temple, there is a one-way street with door at the end. There are some zealots downstairs in a small room. Click on a mirror to start a PQ. Pink horrors (lvl 25 mobs) spawn.

Marshes of Madness - writing from the top of my head, no coords etc sorry  :-\

Directly west of dwarven Chapter9 camp there is a man sitting close to the main road. Click on him twice.
SW of the camp - there are two PQ areas close to each other. To the north of the PQ area further from the camp, there is some vampyre relic (or something). Again click 2x.
Even more SW - take the road leading west past RvR camp (with FP) and the turning south. There is a marsh lake west from the road with a small island in the souther part. Go to that island, click on stolen supplies there.

And in the very SW corner of the map, there is an area with some geysers - they spit out a mob every now and then. I could interact with the geysers but nothing happened.
