Im in the closed beta.

Its good fun, even if I keep going broke researching stuff, so I barely afford to go to battles with ammo ;)

Logged on for a quick battle (do one a day and you get "paid" 150 "gold", which you can convert into credits to buy research, crews, ammo etc), and 3hrs disappeared.

Its quite addictive.

Will be fun when the UK & US WWII tanks are added in. Although am having fun skilling down the german line right now.

What name are u using old chap.
Im in the EU closed Beta as well. (its the only game im playing at present. Don't have time for anything else).
Im using the name Dekurgan and ull currently find me driving one of the following (in order of most used first).

1. VK3601(H)  ;D
2.PzVI Tiger I   :'(
3. 38(T) Grille  :-\
4. StuGIII  :(

Im usually only on for a short while each day (as work allows  ::) )
but ill there somewhere  ;D

Don't use the gold for credits. Saving it up for a few days and get either the 24hr premium or a weeks worth. Makes a huge difference when using Tanks like the Tiger or higher.

Realised that and am now hoarding.

Im using MangalaSolaris

And just run around in a PzKpfw II  at the moment, while I get research done and save credits (good I make more than my repairs cost) for bigger toys.

If ur running around in the recruit area on a german tank then the best one to use for making credit quickly is the arty believe it or not.
Oh and dont forget to take ur crew out of the tank before u sell it. Alot of people forget and lose all that experience. (ive done it myself doh!  ::) )

Battle chat - and general chat itself - shows off how many eve players are in this thing.  Not just chat, but even names I recognise, alliance/corp tags etc.

Its heaving with eve players.

Doesnt bother me, cant do anything in a channel other than join or speak.

its also temporary until they add in clans/groups at some stage.

I was like that for a while - hell still am at times.

Good thing with the 2 starter tanks, no repair costs.

If you spot people, even scratch another tank etc you get exp and credits.  Spend some time learning the maps as you (randomly) play them and so on, learn the best places to race to get spots in even a few shots, yes you'll die, but if by spotting you cause arty to get a kill in, you get bonus exp there too, as does your commander get some experience also.
