There is something special about rift. Since i started playing wow in 2006 no other mmo kept me interested enough to reach the level caps, until i hit 50 in rift last sunday.

Only tried ZA yesterday with 2 guildies and 2 friends of one of them. Was a nice challenge and fun learning as we didnt really have much clue of what to do.
If you need a dps for any of them and see Elminendra online give me a whisper and i might be able to come.

I doubt this will make me sign up for random pugs much more than today. I might sign up for more instances as tank for my guild but thats about it.
Also i prefer to play my mage right now and chances of that being the most required class in the system is kinda low.

A new profession was announced for GW2 today.. The Commando:

"A master of the battlefield, this elite soldier is equally at home on the mean streets of Lion's Arch, in the steamy Maguuma Jungle, or on the Orrian front. The multi-role commando is a combat medic, an infiltrator, and a tank. By land, sea, or air, the commando is a technological force to be reckoned with. Come get some."

If you dont like ques set your alarm to 6 AM. Problem solved 

Ques suck yea, means i couldnt play the hour before i am off to work this weekend.  No ques when i got home around 8 am tho 
But its to be expected for a new game when half the wow population is trying a new game. And it will probably get twice as bad on actual launch date and the week after as more and more people get their keys. Then it should get better over the next month or so as people get spread out so more slots can be opened, some people ragequits due to ques, others finds the game isnt their thing or the next content patch comes out in wow(ZA/ZG instances anyone?).
Also once you start getting ques it will only get worse as players are selfish asses that will do anything to get around it by finding ways to be afk but still online until they actually want to play rather than giving up their spot to someone else. Its Aion launch all over to me. There you could stay logged in by making a personal shop where you posted some crap item at a stupidly high price so nobody would buy it and then you would be kept online until servers were restarted or you logged off yourself. And still ques were gone after a month or so, maybe 2..
I just hope they open up for free transfers to new servers instead of just adding a ton of servers that needs merging later.

Personally ill be annoyed by the wait times sure, but i choose to have some faith that it will get better soon and just do something else while waiting. Next week i will be logging in either around lunch time or midnight anyways so hopefully the wait isnt too bad.

Havent got a clue as to server, side, race or class yet and i didnt read up/try beta at all.

I guess thats what you get for continuing to kill npcs when neuts enter local instead of getting somewhere safe. 
My first ganknight and it was fun. Will be signing up for more in the future. Hopefully with some better overview settings and ships with longer range and faster locking.

I voted maybe later, but it could just as well be a no or right away. I think if i dont move in early its not going to happen, but at the same time i am not very active at the moment either so might not have the time to dedicate for a 0.0 life.

Soo.. to kill 2 frigs and a  cruiser you should bring a dual large armor rep baddon backed by 2-3 guardians to survive?

Can fly Guardians with logitics at 4 and remote armor/energy transfer at 5 on Dlarah(but i have never tried flying one!). Or he can field a mean laser boat with armor tank for dps.
