INTRODUCING ULTRAMARINES – A WARHAMMER 40,000 MOVIE!

The moment fans have been waiting for is finally here... for the first time, the Warhammer 40,000 universe will be realised in a feature-length movie on DVD.

Ultramarines is a 70-minute sci-fi thriller that will use CGI and state-of-the-art animation production techniques. Games Workshop is delighted to be working with UK-based production company Codex Pictures, who have the momentous task of bringing the Warhammer 40,000 universe to the screen.
"Banking was conceived in iniquity and was born in sin. The bankers own the earth. Take it away from them, but leave them the power to create money, and with the flick of the pen they will create enough deposits to buy it back again. However, take away from them the power to create money and all the great fortunes like mine will disappear and they ought to disappear, for this would be a happier and better world to live in. But, if you wish to remain the slaves of bankers and pay the cost of your own slavery, let them continue to create money." Josiah Stamp (Governor Bank of England 1928-41)

I don't really understand the way GW fixates on Ultramarines and Blood Angels whenever they release anything
Especially Ultramarines are about the most generic chapter in the entire WH40K universe.

Make something with Space Wolves or the Dark Angels for a change! (When electing the latter, please focus on Death Wing, tyvm!)
"There is no Planet B." (Seen on a banner at Copenhagen)
Quoted for brilliance.

D.A.D. ... Is this what you hear when your children speak to you? :o

My vote of course goes to an Inquisition movie, but I'll take whatever. The closest I ever thought we'd come to a Warhammer 40K movie is The Chronicles of Riddick.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Abnett is doing the script.

So if he sticks to the style he used during the Ghosts series should be ok :)

That's a whole lot of refined British accents.

not bad.

too many scenes of just marines walking.

They seemed to die very easily.

needed more chaos
