It didn't take long, but the first EVE is Real sharing milestone has been reached and unlocked! Almost 1,000 images and video have been entered into the EVE is Real museum so far, and the first level of sharing has unlocked Aurum for the entire EVE Online community. A lot of Aurum, about 108,000 PLEX worth of Aurum. We hope to deliver 1,000 Aurum to the wallets of all active EVE Online accounts this Friday, July 29.

If you've not yet checked out the EVE is Real site, we encourage you to do so. Participate by uploading your EVE images and videos on the site, and then spread the word by sharing. Our next milestone will result in another 1,000 Aurum being distributed to every EVE Online player.

Yes tomorrow, unless ccp provide us with a way to opt out and such like, as its just a marketing scum gimmick - hand out enough aurum, people use store, then wahey store = success as people used it, "we are fearless and we are right" ccp will say.

Please dont give ccp the pleasure of seeing the store used, do whatever it takes to avoid it.  The sooner they understand that a store in a subgame is bad, and is also a slippery slope the better. Also id like them to focus on spaceships again.

Hadnt thought of it that way. But hadnt really foccused on the whole shop thingy after my initial rage. But i do agree with you. Barbie has nothing to do with Internet Spaceships.

but more isk is more internet spaceships. So my initial idea was just to hold on a bit and see what has a decent aur to isk conversion rate, buy that with the aur and than sell it.

but probably do what you say as it makes more sense, and i will never ever have enough iskies in internet spaceships, i gave up that hope

If my work situation wasnt so uncertain i might have paid for some aurum and bought a monocle just for the lulz and to tease Mang 

I might keep free aurum for future isk conversion or something. Not really bothered with the whole clothie shop money/isk sink as long as they dont sell special awesome must have ships/mods/ammo in there wich cant be bought elsewhere. Then i might consider closing down my 4 accounts, but up until then the whole rage about the shop just seem stupid to me. Stupid shop doesnt even have alien mounts in it so meh...
I do agree on the moar focus on spaceships instead of sims in space thing tho.

Apparently a petition will get aurum removed should you not want to even see the blue numbers in your wallet.
