Its a prntscrn+paste into paint job (no inherent screenie option...) but I'll try.

My Sith Warrior: Mawthe.  Standing on Korriban with the Valley of the Dark Lords behind him:

1920X1080, no changes to the main graphics settings except ground clutter and shadows.  Runs very smooth.

Got a companion:

UI is a bit meh as most of it is locked and cannot be moved (only chat can...) so for now its a juggling exercise...

christ was reading some numpty on official forums bragging that he had made lvl 20 in 12 hours by skipping the story why these people live so long is beyond me should be put down at birth. :o

he will be sat at lvl 50 saying there is nothing to do and wondering why.

taken me 7 hours to get to lvl 9 and loved every second of it :)

Logged off this morning at an unholy hour. Got to lvl 12 on a Jedi Guardian (class I'll be rolling at launch). Got to Coruscant and did the Esseles (first Republic flashpoint). Also picked up my crew skills to play round with.

On the whole, very, very impressed. The gameplay mechanics are superb. Getting my lightsaber was epic, and nothing beats pressing Z and flicking it out. Also love the mod system. Got a green blaster random drop, stripped out the Orange crystal, and stuck it in my Lightsaber. Very cool wondering round Tython with the only Orange Lightsaber!

The flashpoint was amazing. Nice mechanics for an instance tuned to just DPS, and still a challenge. I did it with Chug, with our two companions, and we really had to think for one of the fights. Really keen to see how they're tuned for later levels and the trinity.

I've already uninstalled the plethora of MMO's I've tried since leaving WoW, and it looks like WoW will get uninstalled before the weekend is out (something I've never willingly done in 6 years!).

Aye the Esseles was a LOT of fun, amazing instance. And I think Smuggler loot may be the new Shammy loot  :P

Overall i'm loving it. It's fresh, crisp, looks amazing, polished realyl well, combat animations are just out of this world (see what i did there?).

played trooper to level 11 chose commando as advanced skill set must say if i wasnt already going consular this is the class i would choose possible first alt.

played sith inquisitor till level 11 if i was going sith this is the class i would go with.

played smuggler till level 8 not a bad class at all but not played enough of it really

and now to the class i will play(couldnt resist trying it) jedi consular played till level 11 went sage(damage) the class quests leading up to getting your lightsaber were excellent the moment you actually receive it is trully epic.

didnt do any flashpoints want to leave those for live also didnt want to do then with scrubs.
crafting dabled a little but will have to read up on it to see what fits with what.

all in all a good and only time will tell if it is great game i must remember to mute mumble though when doing the cut scenes :)

goodbye wow forever ;D

giving up on the beta now as i dont want to spoil anymore bug reports sent though i didnt seem to come across many.

wonder if they will sort the orange pixel of death :D

I've gone a little crazy with my Jedi Knight, who is now lvl 17...

Coruscant is fun. Getting your ship is amazing. I'm now on Taris.

I'm probably going to PvP for the rest of the beta, and do a bit more Trooper.

Iwannasith you up babeeee!!!

Almost 20, Sith Sorcerer (heal/dps)

Game in general is fantastic, companions really add something to the game, and using them to gather materials and sending off on missions to get more "stuff" is a good addition.

Grouping is where the fun is at, rolling on conversations is great, example, Me and Jon did Black Talon, i chose to kill the captain who disobeyed orders, Jon wanted to tell him off i guess, i won roll, he died :)

also did Hammer Station with random scrubs 1 wipe on last boss but was fun overall.

Crafting is something different, its done primarily by your companions, and its takes time to make stuff, more complex items take longer. Theres also "reverse engineering" by breaking down drops or crafted stuff you have a chance of learning how to make it better. i.e. RE a green saber crystal can result in learning how to make the exact same crystal just better quality i.e. blue ;)

not doing PVP as i wont do much of it in game anyways.

also im at Dark I corruption and my eyes turned a nice shade of orange, 50 points of II and ill see what happens ;)

har har, turned 20 big window on scree, START SAVING, speeder licences are very expensive save now for level 25

Best choice yet that I have made while playing my Sith Warrior.

Along the way I kill a guy, bed his wife, make my twilek watch...

Awesome choices.

You are terrible, but I love you for it.

Game really is a good crack.  Time (first 6months) will really tell, with speed of content additions, needed fixes, and so on, but I am going into this with some faith that the last big throw of the dice for subscription based EQ clones will come up 6's!

I had some reservations when on Ord Mantell and Coruscant with my smuggler. The zones were just so linear and bound by set paths rather than the vast open field like zones of WoW and other MMOs, but Taris has really opened up in a similar vein and I'm enjoying it even more now! Seems like they want to easy new MMOers into it with the first 2 starter planets.

The Crafting/Crew Skills is immensely good.

SO my impression after beta are

Squeeeeee

must have this :)

p.s. PVP is shit,

Huttball was dull and just fucked up generally, too many environmental traps exploited, Sith/jedi leaping around all over the place, an already squeezed skill bar finding room for a pass skill was very hard.

Attack/defence (cant recall name of the game) was more fun but still felt dull

plus after doing 1 attack/defence i levelled up 2 PVP levels got 5k cash and probably the same in xp at level 10

im now glad i purchased the CE all those months ago :)

ill gladly be shooting my syphilis empowered piss coloured bolts also, until someone makes a better crystal than +4 END (around level 15 from my dabble in Artifice)

Yeah pvp was awful.  But I aint here for that to be frank.  (Their bolster mechanic is for 1-49 etc, no other brackets...).

Looking forward to pre-launch and launch itself.  Good that the guild program basically forms guild and asks each of us as we log in if we require to join etc As 1 less thing to worry on.

I actually really enjoyed the PvP. Huttball was good fun. You dominate as a Trooper tbh. Mortar Volley ftw.

As for Guild launch, hope we get on an EU server with a decent name...

Same - about server name - do want a terrible one. Or one that begins with A. (All the idiots will pick first server in list etc...)

I'll tell you now, if i'm going to be rolling on the same server as you guys, don't be picking the most gay-arse name there!  :P

Any reason why server name is important?

As said, anything in the top half of the alphabet will become a laggy, dickhead infested hellhole. Full of spergelords and total bads as they cant read names past the first letter.

Last weekends client will be patched to the release client.

Stephen Reid confirmed via Twitter that the Star Wars: The Old Republic testers from the Thanksgiving Beta Weekend will be able to be patch their game client for Early Game Access and Release. As such, players should keep their game installation in tact on their computers. For players who tested the game prior to November 25th, however, Mr. Reid recommends a clean installation of the game client.

Read on for the direct quotes from Stephen Reid.

FAQ: if you played this weekend you do NOT need to uninstall the #SWTOR client. We are planning to patch it to Early Game Access / Live.

Last weekends client will be patched to the release client.

That's the Best news I have had all day.

As for impressions.  I really liked the fully voiced quests.  Normally I am just spamming the next button to get the text boxes to go away so I can get on with my life.  But I enjoyed the cut scene style of the quest conversations and the way your answers could effect light side / dark side points as well as Companion affection points.

PVP warzones were fun for me, even though I don't think I was ever on a winning Huttball team.  I didn't get into any open world pvp, so no clue how that's going to work.  Looks like consequences of death will be pretty insignificant.  Item durability is the only real down side.  So It wont replace Eve in that respect.

Overall I had a ton of fun, and could not wait to log in and play all weekend.  That could wear off, but the bottom line is, the game is fun, and it doesn't feel like grinding.
