is now downloading via the background downloader from what i have being reading there is one more before cata release patch 4.0.1.

so could be all the guesses that ppl are making of a first week in november release could be about right, i know 4.0.1 is on the ptr now. :)

patch size 1.74gig

Following a similar path to what Wrathoftheeasymode did.

PTR 2months before estimated release.
Events in the weeks after.
6 weeks after ptr Patch goes live.
Release roughly 2months following ptr launch.

In this case the PTR DOESNT have any of the cata specific content given they want it to be a surprise to the majority - well as much as it can be with mmochamp and various other sites out and about datamining everything.

second part of the patch coming down the pipes now all 4.45 gigs worth :)
