one of the things from the patch notes

doing specific tasks from the TOK  bestiary section you can unlock rewards

cloaks
pocket items
armour set items
tactics
trophies

these can be collected from the librarian in capitol citys once the task has been completed.

i ordered some models and action figures from the usa a couple of years ago if you can get them to mark them as toys.

toys are exempt from import tax or they were a couple of years ago.

i could be wrong about the size but that was the figure floating round in beta.

in beta we were upto patch 3.3 and the new one is patch 4.1 so quite abit of work has been done since beta finished although there are ppl in the states still beta testing.

just been reading the latest patch notes on the beta forum and all i can say it is massive in content and updates looks like the pre OB patch which i think i heard was around 3gig in size theres too much to copy and paste but they say these notes will be posted on war europe soon.

shadow warrior/bright wizard/archmage

never thought i would consider a healing class but having played the archmage i like the mechanics behind them plus they get renown alot faster then any other class i have played.

the only place you can get this with the open beta guaranteed is from the EAstore for the uk.

and some guy on the WHA forums is claiming that he got an email from EAstore saying the client would be available from the 6th of september at 1700 hrs.

i think it is someone trolling i cant see it being true if it is GOA are idiots.

bright wizards do a hell of a lot of damage in beta people were already calling them op'ed and asking for the nerf bat.

there spell animations were really good when they worked(beta problem)
one effect was like the ground under the target turning to molten magma.
another was like napalm going off at about head lvl.


archmage more of a dedicated healer you did get dots to use and a half decent dps called searing touch i used this to finish people off that were trying to get back to there lines after them taking a lot of damage.
but then again there were three skill trees to try so i didnt explore fully.

yes we get one not sure if both CE and SE both get in this part is confusing me too.

i think but dont quote me that if you get a SE from a GOA partner from the 28th of august you get in i think there are 55000 SE places for OB throughout europe.

the client will be downloadable from the EA store from the first week in september and OB starts on sunday september the 7th.

i think GOA will be announcing these partners on the 28th of august.

which edition did you get ?  if you got the CE then no worries just check war europe from the 1st of september for the link to the client dl and hopefully a account setup page.

check the dev tracker posts on warhammer alliance see the ones by iain_c .

on the headstart CE owners get in slightly earlier last i heard it was the 14th with the SE getting headstart from the 15th.

my rig

quad core 2.4 ghz
4 gig ram
8800gt with 1gig ram(not sli)which the game does support or so i have heard
xp pro

dont know about fps you needed fraps to check as theres no way to check ingame.
the game was not optamised in beta and only had limited graphic options.
one of them was to force the fps.
hope there is a full suite for release big mistake if there isnt.

game ran fine on my rig in pve only seeing lag in mass pvp this was all on beta servers so dont know if it will be the same on live servers.

i know kurtt was having issues with lag and it was a concern for him.

and the beta closes on monday /cry to get ready for open beta which starts on the 7th of sept.

we should have kept up with going the guild beta route they were short of guilds for the beta.
