Seems EA wants to make more money from the warhammer franchise (or not as its free)

3 man team pvp arenas from the looks of it.

This is like a stripped down arena esque "theres money in esports apparently" style version of WAR.

Quite seriously, to what extent is that true? I know for many WoW players arenas were the only thing that mattered, and judging by the number of times I suffered in PvE for a PvP tweak, Blizzard themselves certainly take it seriously.

I'm vaguely aware there are entire competitive leagues for FPS games and fighting games, with sponsorship and media coverage and the whole shebang.

Think this thing's got any legs? I mean, it was always a fairly PvP-oriented game, and tier 1 was damned fun, from memory.
