I agree with you there Saf, although the TCU and poses cant be anchored on the same moon, should the TCU be anchored on a moon (it can be done anywhere in system and is shown as a beacon in system once its up).  Takes SBU's disrupting sov for the TCU to become attackable though.

Having a pos up - deathstar - would help for holding staging ships should someone come in with SBU's though - cant see that happening till -A- fail again though ;)

Re: mail over the invasion. I weighed in via Angaraka - and also asked Sin for clarification of what ships his CTA needs, and said why such clarification is needed :D

Quote
Dont linger on gates then. Scout gets you a 150KM + warp in on each gate, or even better off grid spy tacs for a gate. Then you warp there, then scout goes through each gate.

Obviously should these rats be on the "in" gates then, move together as a unit, dont all go paniccy and warp off or whatever before your FC calls it. If the FC makes a decision to engage then FOCUS fire, dont go all solo l4 hero on people.

Sin - re the CTA, what ship types, whats the max size of vessel etc, ideal ranges you want to work at when escorting/.guarding the TCU while its onlined?

Your CTA announcement missed off these rather important details, as otherwise you'll end up with a rag tag gang of ships that dont complement each other at all and potentially cheap small stuff as people wont bring what they cant afford to lose.

Re: bookmarks: I planned to take an inty out and make what I call travel-bookmarks from hisec to destination, both ways. These will be - as you already pointed out - offgrid bookmarks, ~500km from the gate. These are good for scouting before warping to the outgate, but also to sail free from dragbubbles AND offer short warpins to the gate as to make situations like ["next system is clear" - "everyone warp to outgate" - "next system is spiking!" - "crap! we are already in (a 150AU) warp!" - *bogies had a shorter warp - wipeout*] less likely, which is especially likely with slow-alligning and slow-warpspeed vessels like the one that will need to sail in TCUs and IHs.
This danger can partially be negated by using 3 scouts (+2, +1 and -1), but this will only be 100% failproof in pipes.

But anyway - in short: I'll be making such bookmarks.

One other thing: I think a corp-office near closest hisec sys will be nice.

And what is the idea about all corp-assets that we now have in Derelik? (Partially) move them to said new office, or? No clue how much assets we got, but with Mang having 1000 shares in RF this is not so much of an issue. What might be an issue though is unpacking and packing everything (or can we leave everything in it's boxes? - we got a shitload of stuff packed in named containers, and I'm afraid they're station containers)

Re: mail over the invasion.
Silly question, but can't we go around? At work now, so won't be able to check before tonight.

havent had a look ingame which systems it is yet, but will do later today - and tbh the incursion might be gone by friday, it could be on the downswing of its spawn period, the mailer gave very little info tbh - id hate to be relying on them for intel.

Re corp assets, keep them were they are. I dont want us to fully commit just to have it go horribly wrong - we committed a lot to Fountain and that was alot of effort to shift, we learned that lessen once :)

When will you guys learn that being a "pet" (hate that term) isnt worth the isk investment, big alliances dont give a shit beyond getting their monthly cash for doing fuck all.
"Banking was conceived in iniquity and was born in sin. The bankers own the earth. Take it away from them, but leave them the power to create money, and with the flick of the pen they will create enough deposits to buy it back again. However, take away from them the power to create money and all the great fortunes like mine will disappear and they ought to disappear, for this would be a happier and better world to live in. But, if you wish to remain the slaves of bankers and pay the cost of your own slavery, let them continue to create money." Josiah Stamp (Governor Bank of England 1928-41)

Not so much us, as the rest of the alliance. Its also why I stuck the isk down on MAADI's behalf, im happy to waste my isk rather than let the corp waste theirs.

Hrod has been trying to get maadi into proper alliances - but no go really as we are pretty small, active when other games dont grab our attention and what not.  Also its why I dont want to commit to a full move of all our shit, do this a month by month basis and see how awful it gets, while looking at other options for the maadi actives and their alts etc.

Well if packing/unpacking is either unneccesary or not much of an effort it could be worth it, if only just partially (some ships, modules and BPCs or whatever). Especially because it will be a hisec-hisec move and we can just get RF to move it.
I'd hate it when individuals having to move stuff from Derelik to Tenerifis (vs Khanid - Tenerifis) would be an (/the) issue of them not enjoying their stay in Tenerifis. There is a difference between keeping the effort of living there to a minimum vs. no effort at all.

I would be happy to organize the logistics of moving (some) corp stuff by RF - to Khanid, if I get your (i.e. corp) approval and maybe some pointers e.g. on how to contact RF and what you would like moved.

Hmmyeah... We could also just stay where we are, get ourselves bored to death by staying in hisec and have our characters sold.  :P

How did I not pick up on hisec-hisec when im obsessed with RF.

RF: http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=763167  (forgot they had a eveo thread). Pretty much explains it all.

Send a corp mail asking for builders to stick a few of whatever we have sufficient mats for into build also - few more bcs and such?

Hmm, all BPO's are locked by vote, right? So rig-BPOs will be hard to move? (We dont have BPCs of many of them)

(Oh and while I'm at rig-BPOs... I noticed we are missing quite a few of them in Derelik while, if memory serves, we had a full set of S/M&L. Are some still in the pipe Anttiri->Kasrasi? If so, relay pipe to office-to-be in Khanid?)

Think everything except the expensive stuff ammik has on her is in Kasrasi now - just not all sorted out from when hrod moved stuff when I mothballed kasei iirc.

re locked bpos.  we'll unlock the rig ones, but not the rest. as im not doing more votes if they got moved for whatever reason.  (Lots of votes is effort.)

Also iric the rig bpc's we do have are for silly amounts of rigs, so may be worth totally up the runs we have per rig type by bpc and then unlocking those we dont really have much of?

Ok, I'll have another go at trying to locate those BPOs. Last time was a fortnight ago, give or take...

And it might be me, or it might be you, but I have no clue what you are trying to say in your last sentence.

Basically, rig bpcs have lots of runs on them, so it wont be worth unlocking the ones we have lots of runs for (ie if we have 5 or 6 bpcs then we have a good few hundred runs at least), if we have 1 bpc then unlocking its bpo would help.

id go with replacing "totally" in last sentence with totalling, and "much of" with "many runs for".
