Due to the 'caldari hurray'-content I think only 74% of the players get a hard-on on this one (the ones with caldari mains).

I truly liked it though, esp the soundeffects of combat.
Still I like the video in your first post more for it's atmosphere. This vid makes up with it's storyline though. Tough call for me all in all.

If you have not watched either Clear Skies 1 or 2 then I second Jon and his pushing of them.  Great machinima does not come along that often and these really are good, especially how they merge the Half Life and EVE looks.

As for the video in your first post Jon, is there anywhere you have not yet spammed it? I mean its good, but still!

As with Clarion Call 1 & 2, the focus is on logistics, both sub-capital and capital. At its heart then, I guess it's a video about helping your friends, though admittedly after you put them into a tight spot to begin with Smile

One of the main changes is that this video includes a lot more TS recording than before - sync'd with the music of course (I think Valdor's calling makes a fine duet with Ihsahn's black metal rasp). A lot of this really is aimed at recreating the atmosphere of a fight.

There's something unique about an Eve fleet, almost any Eve fleet, compared to other games. I'm paranoid that twenty years from now I'll be at some kind of World of Evercraft 6 gathering, presumably in Elven cut-offs and a Druid wig, and will have forgotten what Eve was like. So part of the motivation is to, in a small and humble way, bottle something of what makes this game different.

The Guardian footage particularly, focuses on smaller engagements (pairs or a group of four, for example), hence why the the AB sometimes get dropped for dual ECCM (even with added projected) to stop a couple falcons ruining the day and situations where we're up close and personal rather than holding range in our beloved logi-blob.

I hope you guys and girls enjoy the vid and all I'd ask is to pick some quiet moment to watch it when you can mute your own TS comms, etc. Sorry in advance for the file size (it's a longer video than CC2:Pantheon) & for inevitable download issues.

Players: Media Player Classic is always the safest. Windows Media Player normal, DivX Player, etc. should have no issue on fast machines. We did find that VLC struggled on some dual core setups with noise effects, transitions, ultra-busy scenes, etc. Media Player Classic is recommended there. Quad-core setups on VLC have run, so far.

File: At the end of the rainbow you should have an MKV file of 1,206,018,226 if the DL worked.
