Yup!  And tbh this "patchpansion" doesnt have anything for me at all.  No new ships, not many ship fixes (and most of those are superficial to looks etc), no huge number of fixes to known and reported bugs either.

Just dress up game instead.

And 13 wars on Serenity is rather fun.

So CCP fail once again.

Jump clone bugs - can only JC from a pod, and you arent in a pod when not in a ship anymore...

Microtransaction store:

(http://i.imgur.com/Oed13.png)

Aurum are made from plex at a rate of 3500A = 1Plex.  So that monocle costs 4 plex, which cost what £45 if you buy 2 GTC's and split them, so not a MICROtransaction...

If your machine isnt that good, DONT linger in station with CQ activated, it can rape it...

Switch it off - but then you cant even ship spin as you just get a static image....

I logged in, got annoyed logged off, logged back onto Serenity.  CCP have fucked with the one MMO to hold my attention for years...

Make matters worse, the option to turn off CQ is temporary.  (And I like looking at ships in station, after all its the thing that drew me in in the first place, spaceships.)

Read it late late late lastnight:

http://failheap-challenge.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2434

Is all about it - some past and current CSM giving opinions on its validity etc.

EVEO is more full of rage and quit threads than I have ever seen.

Me, I am just disappointed.

seems like they've just adapted it a little bit to appeal to the 'newer' 00bs. Like the agent finder and the star map being altered a bit with the default jump lines.

I think the CQ is awesome, just a trial at the mo, but when it gets in the full swing of things it'll house allsorts of awesome shit! Player owned cantinas, drug dens etc etc etc. you cant tell me that's not cool. Admittedly i've turned the CQ off due to graphics card fuckery, but getting a new one when i get paid. I dont think theyve ruined EVE at all, just added something a bit cosmetic onto it. No harm done.

Even managed to get a nice group of Pandion Knights guildies playing. 6 or 7 of us atm, just general care-bearing/mining until everyone gets a bit of ISK/skills

I can cope with cosmetic, I can cope with vanity MT, I can cope with "optional" GQ/Station nonsense, what i dont like is leaning more and more to Mt, suggestions it should be used to give us more fittings, or an ingame advantage etc, or their lack of micro in the MT store (equiv of 50quid for a monocle...).

You got some PK to play eve?  Noice!  I'll have to try and log TQ more after my vacation then - if advice/help is needed etc :)

Ive given this game like 5+ years of my time, its the MMO i have given the most time too, thought the most about, and really truly enjoyed, it just seems of late the vision that ccp had has gotten lost and its gone past the spaceships which attracted me into "how much can we whore out of the players before the get fucked off/we get new ones etc".

Having turned CQ off though and not ever needing anything from an MT store, I can probably have the fun I need in it.  Just know now to never ever listen to ccp again or give them my money (someone else's is fine).

Anyway, as I said. I'll try to be on more often after my vacation (starts tomorrow) to help you and the PK guys out - always good to have a vet (no matter how bitter) along :)

I think you might be being a bit harsh on CCP Mang - we get a free expansion every 6 months and this is their first attempt to screw money out of us.  Think they got their sums wrong is all. peace and love :)

Its horrible its clunky just like the ui, i mean its walking at pimping pace in space, and without even implementing fps movement its HORRIBLE to move.

Not only is eve one of the most expensive monthly games (if you pay cash) (which reminds me  Hannibal would be grateful for the renumeration of Constantines shares) but they are also now raping people with their MT store those prices are silly. I pity anyone who has bought anything.

over all c- CCP for implementation. I do agree it could be big but so far its piss poor

I'll sort something out regards to iskies Garry.

Tyr, I know, Im just very meh about the lack of spaceship content and general change in attitude it seems CCP have had for the past year or so, and when content does get released it fucks up something else (damage mods and implant sets being the latest fiasco I have heard).  Oh and their idea that people prefer new stuff over fixes (as new stuff gets subs and so on), is just daft...

As long as they dont take anything off me, I dont care now.  It'll be easier on me, and all of you, If I just ignore the shit that pisses me off :)

1 positive about CQ - for me at least.  Undocking seems much faster - yes I turned it off - but even before the patch, undocking seemed to take ages for me.

I notice that Black Prophecy is now in Open Beta in North America.
.

Weirdly, the CQ has made immersion more difficult: (a) it's a long time ago but I can remember the Poly of Central London Hall's of Residence were more luxurious than this accommodation for an immortal Star-God. I mean whats with that bed? (b) Looking at the Pod location: do we flop out of the bottom of that glass bubble, naked and covered in goo, on to that cold grate and in full view of the station? (c) Where are the rest of the ship's crew? and why don't I (the immortal star-god etc etc with almost enough money to buy a monocle) not have a cabin on my own ship??

Yeah about time, you bunch of amateurs. Fuck CCP.

Too young to be bitter, try harder.

Seriously this is a massively welcome change to pvp especially if you need to reship fast, it just helps so much, especially when you have:

Ship dieing timer;
docking timer;
reship timer;
undock timer;
warp back to fight;
gate timer if you need to jump;

Rinse and repeat ;)

Same for any pvp tbh, except maybe wormholes. Wonder if it will count for switching ships at pos?

Chug, id stop posting to be honest if I were you. Or at least go post this way on the PK forums too ;) EDIT: You did :)

You arent doing a good impression of bitter, just angry loner that really really needs to get laid (luckily this isnt america or you'd be up a clock tower with a rifle).  For bitter see: http://failheap-challenge.com/forumdisplay.php?11-Eve-General  That whole section is bitter (Just dont read Bart Cranes walls of bitter, hes really bitter) and its really well done lemonade ;)

Seriously, when you put in the time some of the long term players have (hell im at 5 years) and the belief in CCP as a company that bucks the MMO trend and truly gets "it", just to see them wander off after "oo shiny"/marketing idea/ooops we have a 11million loan due in october etc and continue to add "features" to the game you love, features that often dont get iterated on despite promises to do so, features that break more than they add, bugs that dont go fixed for years - and ad infinitum, then it just gets harder and harder to have faith in them, however its never enough to quit as the options out there are fucking awful, and theres enough of the core eve left that you can still have some fun, more so when out of the blue, a glimmer of the CCP that was appears with something like this session timer change.

lol:

Known Issues

Some channels in EVE Voice, like the fleet channel, are not available. We are currently investigating this issue.

Switching ships with the fitting window open is randomly offline modules. Lazy dock workers are being interrogated.  (Obviously related)

Warping to missions using the right click in space menu is not working. Workaround is to relog in space using the ship you wish to do the mission with.

Cargo window is opening after using a jump gate.

1 error out of that it is related to the actual session thing...
