Well, my 1,5 months is up now... It became 1,5 years and from the looks of it I'm not getting a new job soon.
:(
Haven't had the strength to play much lately, for several months really, but I'm going to have significant amount of time after new years haha. Started up the training queues etc for hrod and linnea and will start to play again. Fix the things I intended to do a long time ago and then join rvb i suppose.

Can't catch a break it seems haha
Seems i was stupid and forgot to lock my car on sunday when i came home. So when going to go out to my dads for christmas today i notice this and think oh lucky its still here.
So I sit down and look at the bonnet, "hmm its open a bit... thats weird"
Someone has stolen the damn battery!!!
Sadly they also ripped to hard at the wire for the bonnet lock (or whatever its called) so have to fix that as well somehow.
Ah well, teaches me a lesson :P Can't do much but laugh at it really :D

Didn't get the last straw chance I had a bit of hope on.
This monday my former consultant manager told me that she couldn't be of any help (she had earlier promised that if i found jobs at the same firm I should tell her and she would recommend me).
So the last 1,5 years of painful shitty crap job is a complete waste of time. No merit value and not even value to the damn company I worked for.
Oh the joys of being me!
Tomorrow I have to give notice on my sublet apartment and I'll have to move to my dads again. Will be just my luck if I won't get unemployment benefits either (sent the papers in today).
Oh happy joy joy... Think I'll get a bit plastered tonight, pity all I have to drink are decent whiskey...

Drinkskies can be helpful for a night. Just take care of yourself when doing so. :)
Not getting benefits sucks ass. So do explore all your options there and don't put it off.
Letting means you're flexible. You can accept any job anywhere. Even abroad. As long as your relationship with your dad isn't too bad, it can be nice to take a break from big responsibilities.
What line of work you in and in which country?

An 18-month job on your resume is better than no job on your resume.
GL with the job hunt matey. I'm in the same boat(ish) atm so I know where you come from... I am killing time with temporary sub-academic jobs atm, but all for that bit of cash I guess.
The advantage I got is that I live in the middle of a large urban area, as opposed to your dads iirc.

Not so sure about that... All depends on the job. Given I've not even been contacted for jobs for the same "consultancy" firm which asks for similar experience (administration) I'm fairly certain the experience isn't worth diddly squat. Should have left after the summer 2010 instead of stayed on.
My background is a MSc in financial economics focused on credit risk. Also a reserve officer and have some courses from a MSc towards electrical engineering as well.
My "job" has been billing coordinator and contract administrator for Fortum which is one of the largest electricity firms in europe having a significant responsibility for the billing process. Problem is a drunk monkey can do that job... Its easy.
But at least I don't have their new title... "service specialist" haha complete and utter non-sense.
