Havent heard anything, but I dont know that many folks in GC to be honest.  It could be the usual COAD spam trying to force something or it could be true.  I'll be following that thread, and trying kugs, shc and ingame contacts mind to find out more.

Also interested by the "cow imploded" line, thats news to me.

Look at cow membership numbers.
"the army" which I thought was one of cow core corps have left for gc for example.

These were COW's core corps:

http://evemaps.dotlan.net/alliance/Session_Changes/corporations

(Quam especially along with EE) So we now know were they went.

As for GC - internal issues it turns out, old ceo from a while back is in charge again, but tbh probably wont last long with few blues (not atlas, just Session Changes) and no renters living in their space anymore apparently.

So COW holds 4 outposts without an alliance body to defend it with?

SP will burn, but whether atlas decides to take it no one knows.

PL already have sov in a system there they took from HTA, PL also have an outpost in Insomother from that offensive - where by the way, Red Alliance and other russians decided to lay siege to their spritual home of C-J6 yesterday.  Looks like Russians are back :)

Doubt that Atlas will take it tbh, crap region anyway :P what they might do is install some more fail alliances as meatshields  (maybe we should ask to get a constellation or two :P )

Moar COW stuffs:

Quote
The main reason COW disbanded was that many of the corps were just becoming stagnant, people were not happy & it was showing in participation.

It really wasn't as sudden as people think & it was coming for some time <Well since just after the campaign in GW or Gemin. where ever it was>

With things slowly dying I think the decision was made by many of the corps to call it a day & move on to newer places, enemies, allies, etc etc. For the good of the corps themselves.

I think you haven't seen much about what happened because it really was a non event that didn't have a lot of backstabbing within the alliance it's self, which in turn never helped to feed the rumor mills or whatever.

I will say that most if not all of the ex-cow corps still communicate with each other & from what I have heard are also still having roams etc together.

I hope that helps a bit, & I know if you have a look on Kuguts forums there is an actual post from one of the directors that explains things in a lot more detail.

May look for that Kugs post later too.

GC has moved into E02-IK and have essentially cut me off from my POS.  The JPL pipe is clogged with these guys.  Hrod I may have to start having you jump my fuel in if you have room.

I'm going to try a late night run tonight.  Cross your fingers.  Do we have a badger BPO..  I may have to start producing my own Cranes if I keep losing 1 a week.

Thats very bad....
I only jump in fuel once a month and one month of fuel takes the entire rorq :/ (more even but as the tower has almost no cpu use the hw requirements is low)

Took a look at dotlan. Assuming GC will ditch SP completely then I really wonder who will take their place?

PL is taking a few systems (the few high ends??)
Cursed likewise (the rest of the high ends??)

True reign is going there as well (is that the breakup between them and real? TR wanting sov and nbsi while real want nrds all the way in dead end gw?)

And some russians as well around the "north" of the map.

Im almost itching to go try taking a system again :P
(for example P-N or somewhere around there)

Itching Itching Itching  :D

Well I finally made it out last night.  Had my alt in his pod scouting for me.   Getting back will be another story.

As far as Sov taking, We would need participation.  And I don't see that any time in the future.  All the Active PVP guys have all gone.  What would we do with our own sov anyhow.  We would just be food out there.  But hey, I'm all for it.  It would be a blast.

I know :) wasn't a serious suggestion really.

Main use would be to say "we hold 0.0" when trying to recruit ;)

edit:
It could be profitable as well, if there would be some moon of interest in the system ;)
