I mentioned this in the Steam Deals thread, but it needs a thread of its own.

Its an old UT2004 mod, which is now ported to the Source Engine - because Valve hired the dev team.

More importantly its FREE.

So guys, even if you dont use steam normally GET IT NOW!!  Its got coop campaigns and so on ala Left 4 Dead but this time its you and your mates shooting aliens top down (alien breed amiga style!) and in isometric view.

It isnt as mindless as it seems, each character brings to the campaign different skills - medic, heavy weaps, trooper/officer and engineer guy.  Each with their own style of weaps/accessories, meaning some of the "puzzles" involved can be worked out quite well.

Personally Im enjoying it, and Im quoting Aliens all the time!

Anyways only downside is a single campaign for coop (for now, since the mod tools were released in the same release it seems to community will have maps up in a week or so. Hoping someone will do an Aliens related campaign!) and just 1 map for offline practice.

Still 64 achies to get and several unlocks so should last a while and as its free im not whining anymore.

works better for me - 1 shows my marines head (its like a headcam), 0 doesnt show any marine.
