Opposed to the worst fears of some of us: he's not dead  :)

I found his entry on LinkedIn a few weeks ago, with recent additions. I then sent him an invitation which he accepted after a bit.
Unfortunately he hasn't responded with a message of his own, he just accepted the invitation. I also suggested he'd come and say hello on the forums, which he hasnt done obviously.

I waited a few weeks to give him a chance to respond, but apparently he doesn't feel like or can't keep us his contact with us. But at least he's still around. Thought you'd be happy to hear that at least.

and he did have a newly purchased BPO as far as i remember that was in transit at the time of his disappearance, i could be wrong but meh

It would seem that life has claimed another EVE Player

A Bit of backround on the story.

Back about 4-5 months ago, the CEO of ZPHY (Zephyr Manufacturing Group) of the SMASH Alliance one day simply when AWOL, no-one knew where he was or what had gone on, even to this day he remains the CEO of ZPHY.

After weeks of searching Nanobot (ZPHY Leader now) had been searching as to why their leader had disappeared with a majority of his corps assets. Today he got a reply

I'm currently trying to get in touch with all those guys Who I believe knew Red. (And that he disapeared suddenly). Finally got an answer, although it definately wasn't the one I was looking for.

I am sorry to write that David died 6 weeks ago after being in a coma for
many months after collapsing at home.
I'm not sure if you knew or not but David had a long standing terminal
condition with his kidneys.

With my current workload I haven't managed to get through the list of
people
that David wanted me to contact - I would appreciate it if you would tell
the others in eve. I still have a few messages that David wanted me to
contact in eve that I am trying to find email addresses for.

It all feels a little like a nightmare that won't end still.

Was it kidney problems?? Thought it was some effect from a flu but ah well.
Just weird that he goes awol like that and ditches all those assets.
