It's good practice to get TS up and running when in-game.
It speeds things up a bit.  I'll link the TS post when I can find it :)

I've chatted with somebody from EH and they use English always when there are english speakers about.
They were friendly, chatty and helpful - they were also keen on us after I'd talked with them for a bit.

I chatted also with a guy from Sirrius alliance today - they're a new renter alliance and looking for some new blood.  They're also looking to get sov in our POS system.
They're UK based mostly and appeared friendly - but a little wanna-be.  Might be up-and-coming.

Arcane are having a lot of hassle from Puppet at the mo - which gives us plenty of combat possibilties and maybe we can help turn them around.
Still not sure about them.

Currently EH look more promising - allows us to ease into 0.0 a little better.

I've dropped a line to somebody in Sons of Tangra to see what their requirements are for corps.  Currently I think they're not accepting any new corps but they're active, friendly and have a good chunk of space in Fountain.

There's an additional corp hanger up at the POS away from the Corp Hanger & Ship Array.  It's currently unanchored - this one is for s3kr3t uses only (ie Beo) - so please don't use it.

I have 1M m3 ship space in both the carrier and the Rorqual.  In the carrier this means 2 BS.
The Rorqual however: "Due to its specialization towards industrial operations, its ship maintenance bay is able to accommodate only industrial ships, mining barges and their tech 2 variants".
The carrier can take any sort of ship.

Both have 30k m3 corp hanger capactity.

The carrier has a tiny cargo - mostly for jump fuel.
The Rorqual also has around 100k m3 cargo space.

The Rorqual can currently hold 7 clones (until I train a few more levels).

Do my ships holds need to be empty to be carried?

Only ammo I think.

The drawback of EH is that the systems they are holding (not that it matters that much due to how the renting system works) are crap and the best one they have is boxed in by a system now held by puppets.

Aye - they can only carry charges (ammo, crystals, etc)

hmm, ok... you might want to check the holds of my ships in kubinen then  :s
hoarder has loose stuff in its hold that i would like to be delivered in my personal hangar, minmatar t2 stuff among others iirc

think my cans nr 1 and 2 have AFs in them so should be enough room in them if you get out the AFs

Just an update guys.
I've spoken with the leads of the EH alliance and they look pretty decent.  We talked a lot about Fountain, how they work and what they want - and it fits very much with the discussions we've had over the past few months.  I need to check with Beo about a few things - but it looks like a good match for us.

Shouldn't affect to much would be my guess. Getting some combat ships to pnqy and such to be able to help defend it and our space. Then perhaps look at a new office in that station depending on prices etc.

I'm waiting for the spec of the Death Star (DS) POS we will need to setup as part of the agreement for being in the alliance - until then I'm not sure what the best approach to the POS will be.  The current POS has value as it's on a R32 moon.  Logistically speaking we will also have access to their Jump Bridge network - which means moving things, should it be needed shouldn't be too difficult and the cap ships will take the brunt of the work (it's an easy jump though).  If we need to setup or move the POS - then we'll need all hands for defence while it goes up.

There are offices available in the PNQ station - I've held off getting one until we're listed as members of the alliance (which should be after DT today).

I'm still waiting for the Vent/Forum details from them - and I'll update the first post in this thread with the info as soon as I get it.
