Aye - don't forget to factor in sov into the equation.  It lowers the tower's fuel reqs.

Heck i'd be more involved if I was sure what was going on in the alliance, they hold their cards to close to their chest what exactly they require of us and why its required - there has to be an alliance wide observation of some goal or another. Even if that goal is turning the little corner of fountain into a new Providence then so be it ;)

I know - and it's currently an issue that I brought up with them the other day and part of my annoyance.

I'll be onto them about it again today.  They went into a bit of a panic mode - mostly due to being based a little by SOT/PL for not managing the situation in PNQ very well.
I've already talked with a few about these issues and the foundation of changes are being talked about - but their primary focus is dealing with the current situation.

When we have a little peace - the issues will be hammered out.

The alliance CEO isn't the most tactful of people but he's also being hammered from both sides and working long hours to ensure that we win through.

Aye - but there's also a political landscape we need to navigate and we need to ensure we have the financhial resources to fund/fuel the towers.
I'll knock up some tower configs aimed at moon mining so we can plan in their expense and purchase.

Aye - they've been pretty cool so far and done a grand job.

I'd like us to initiate a few more little fleets to roam a little and get some decent action - if we pick our engagements we could get some decent kills.

I've been remiss in listing what channels the alliance uses (too much todo and not enough time) - but I'll try to do it today.
The IGB fleet page is: http://eh-alliance.com/evefleets/

We may reevaluate where the corp office is in Fountain (currently MN5) in the future.  Offices at the station with the medical facilities cost more/month and initially we were working to keep the running costs low.

Give us a few weeks to get the industry running properly - and we'll get together as a group and reevaluate.

Each end of the JB should be a DS - as it's something hostiles like to target to disrupt friendly movements.
The alliance JB has been indispensible recently.

I wouldn't be a fan of having on at the corp POS in Z3 - as it would expose our construction platforms to a wider audience.

I do have a longing to get us into T2 production - and the great work you guys have been doing scanning moons and looking into what will make a profit is indespensible.
We just need to line up the right ducks first before we're in a position to start exploiting what's available.

Cool - good moves.

If you're convo'd by a Red or ex-red.  Ignore them and direct them to management.

Cool - the more we have the better - both from moving them when selling or when needed in combat.
POS warfare can be pretty mundane but it does have some interesting aspects.

When knocking up a plan for them:
1) Start with your weapons
2) Ensure you can T2 fit everything else
3) Get the "Siege Module" first (lvl 1 minimum - 3+ ideal)
4) Aim to get "Jump Drive Calibration" lvl 1
5) Train for the ship

It's the longer route but it does mean at (5) you'll be effective from the moment your ass hits the seat.
(4) is needed to help jump further and allows a fewer number of jumps to the engagement.  Each level increases your jump range by 25% - starting with 5ly at lvl 0.

EVE Online / Re: Cyno alt in Apocrypha?
« on: April 13, 2009, 11:34:05 AM »
Aye - ideally we cyno just outside the station.
Some stations are easier than others due to their shape.

You're aiming to be 0km from the station and to have the cap ship 0km from the station without it bouncing - it'll then be able to dock after the 30s timer is up on entering the system.

When creating a cyno in deep space (no stations) - you should:

1) Make 2-3 safes
2) Copy the safes into your cargo and jet them
3) Ensure local is free of hostiles (the cyno appears on the overview and is warpable to all)
4) Create the cyno - then cap ship guy will then grab the BM's from the can and will then have safes to warp to

Not currently - it's a back-burner project until I can setup a proxy to handle the updates.

Cap ships ME:2 is good.  ME:1 for Motherships+
Cap Ship Parts I like to have ME:50+ as a minimum, ideally ME:100 - with the parts it's handy to have a decent PE on 'em mostly due to the volumes of parts needed.
When copying Cap Parts - 5-runs are good. As it's a good compromise of utility of the BPC vs time.

In Fountain it's rarely 1v1 - even the random hostiles that turn up come with their alts :)
