from dust

Must say this game appeals to me also. Does remind me of Populus and more recently Black & White.

Hope its as good as it looks, but from the eggsbox 3.60 review i've seen its not "that great" :(

reminds me more of "Doshin the giant" than "populous "

early reviews ive heard of it state horrible controls and that with a controller ;)
"Banking was conceived in iniquity and was born in sin. The bankers own the earth. Take it away from them, but leave them the power to create money, and with the flick of the pen they will create enough deposits to buy it back again. However, take away from them the power to create money and all the great fortunes like mine will disappear and they ought to disappear, for this would be a happier and better world to live in. But, if you wish to remain the slaves of bankers and pay the cost of your own slavery, let them continue to create money." Josiah Stamp (Governor Bank of England 1928-41)

and not even that expensive

I thought that the preorder of Star Wars was f-in cheap too, till I found out it was only a down-payment. Wondering if the same applies here.

£12 to get this off steam on preorder...

However huge downside is needing an ubisoft account too - for online play (why when its connected to steam ffs!).

What online play. Its a singleplayer game! I fear its DRM

I don't do drm, i buy via steam so you can shove drm where the sun doesn't shine

than again, it looks fun though. If they ever add some sandbox or freeplay mode i'll suffer DRM.

But for now its just a puzzle game, there are achievements. But after that its done, so either MP or Sandbox/freeplay else it will just be a shiny bauble that i can resist.
